Martina (5) is getting the first of two paintings done by
Cerissa Young (17) of Galt High.

That is ubiquitous Al Baldwin, Galt's man-of-the-town just
about to splash into the pool. Rumors of losing a bet, a dare, getting his
clothes cleaned and needing a bath abounded. Al appeared to be
sober too. Will we ever know the truth?

Just before the dance started, I caught Mariah practicing her
dance moves. Back in my days we called it cartwheeling. Good luck in
finding a dance partner that can keep up.

Connerly & Associates, on behalf of the City of Galt, has been
administering low, 3%, interest loan grants for home repair to families who
qualify, for over 10 years. The grants address for code or health and safety
issues not for remodeling “wishes.” To date, there have been over 100 projects

Citizens Assisting Police Service (CAPS) Volunteers, front row,
Left to Right, Jim Spratt, Fred Jackson, Back row Bill Jedlicka, and George
Hetrick. They distributed Balloons, rulers, book marks, key chains, pins, pens,
and Crime Stoppers coloring books to all who stopped by their table.

Galt High School students created Recycle Posters, as
reminders to Keep Galt Litter Free.

Richard Manzo, Hot Dog Chef, made sure no one went home
hungry. FREE hot dogs, chips, and drinks, were provided by the Galt City
Council.

Families took advantage of free swimming in the Tony Gora
Aquatic Center.

Skaters took advantage of the Skate Park from sun up, to dusk.

Representing the Galt Market, Cynthia Robles, Janette Robles,
Carina Robles, and Teresa Chaves, provided lists of vendors and the items they
sell.
