"Pro vs. Local Boy"
Paul Lopez is a 17 year old Galt High School student, who has been
skateboarding for four and a half years. He started out at the Lodi
Park, waiting for Galt's Chabolla Skate Park to be built. He enjoys
going to school and after school works at McDonalds three or four days
a week to buy clothes and "necessities." Currently, he's shooting a
"Sponsor Me" video with cameraman Gregg Wade in hopes of finding a
sponsor to support his skateboarding talent.
Pro, Joey Marshall, challenged Paul to two games of "SKATE" in a
"Pro vs. Local Boy" competition. The game is played similar to
Basketball's "HORSE" where each competitor mirrors a stunt of the
first person. When they can not execute the stunt, they get a letter
starting with "S" then "K" and continues on until the first person to
get all five letters in the word "SKATE" looses.

Paul was a tough contender, but Joey won this match.
Second SKATE challenge ...

In the second "SKATE" game, competing against two Pros, Joey and
Anthony, Paul beat Anthony and missed beating Joey by one stunt--quite
a feat for the "Local Boy."
