Come back later today when I have had time to add in the alt. tags.
Thanks

This is "C" Street at 6:40 PM and quite busy. I would imagine that around
500 people enjoyed the very pleasant evening.

The same time, but another view of "C" Street

Gloria Guthmiller of C & J Auto Repair (422 D St.) is handing out water.

Lovely Misty Bell is usually behind the camera, not in front. You can find
her at 916-832-9713

Just behind the Boys and Girls Club table is another old car on display.

Carol J. Erlandson of Carol's Hair Design is showing off products and handing
out snacks.

Ben Salas Funeral Home was out in full force.

Galt Dental had toothbrushes and more.

McEachron Construction was covered in people trying to get a 25 cent hot dog.

Once the crowd was chased away, I got a photo of the hotdogs that were in such
demand.
l. to r. Jessica Palmer and Candice McEachron were the hard workers.

These three beautiful hotrods were gracing the center of "C" Street.

Any time that people collect to have a good time, someone has to ruin it for
everybody. Here we see the result of quick action by our local police.
This old guy was cuffed and rendered harmless by Colby Jones #19. I was
unable to find out what the charges are, but were told that they had "this one"
under investigation for some time. There was probably nothing to the
rumors of homeless, Galt's crossdresser, or terrorist.

Jake is chatting up Queenie at Spaan's Cookies. She is so friendly that
she will talk to anybody.

Alice Vallerga from Stockmans Bank was offering ice cream. They started
with 300 and ran out early.

Charlene Barnhart (Sweet Creations Bakery) is proudly showing her store front.
The cupcake that I ate was just great. Maybe I should go back and test one
from the other end of the batch. Charlene's business has grown well and
she now has a few helpers.

During the entire time that I was there, there was a constant line for Compadres
Market tacos.

Even a private school was there.

Tiffany was showing off tile at the open house and running all over the place.

The logo, isn't it just perfect?
