| "Scuff", nephew of "McGruff" the Crime Dog, filled in as
greeter for the Canyon Creek Park Neighborhood party. He gave the
visitors badges. Joining him in distributing "goodies" were,
from left to right, Officers Chris Smith (trading cards); Doreen Coberly (rulers); Cadets, Katie Fox (Child Identification Fingerprint
Kits); and Sarah Moran (Frisbees).

We are still looking for neighbors to adopt the park, so until
someone volunteers, Canyon Creek Park will be protected by
Alejo "Spiderman."
Cadet Sarah Moran, who is also an Estralita High School student,
represented her student body in presenting a check for the American
Red Cross to High School Board Member, Dennis Richardson. The
students participated in a "Penny Drive", collecting spare change to
donate to the hurricane relief fund. In just two-weeks they
collected $216.46.
Robert Brouwer and Terry Hanna, from the Galt Fire Protection
District, handed out "I Love Galt" T-Shirts. During the day, they
gave tours of two fire engines.
OH!... and gave driving lessons too ...
Four-year-old Garrett Heaton was a fast learner.
